Our mantra, "Live by the Tide, Not by Time" is something people of the sea do in every day of their lives. The tide predicts the days activities, other commitments get rearraned to suit something that needs done at a specific point in the tide. The connection to the natural world couldnt be stronger in the people that live their lives by the pulse of the sea. Surfers plan their day around the best state of tide for the given surf conditions, fishermen the best fishing time, sailors the best time to make a crossing or a pass etc. All living by the tide, connected to the movement of the world, part of it.
