The light is obscured by tonnes of North Atlantic fury. Eventually it releases. The journey to the surface is turbulant and seems to take a life time. The waves' energy slowly dissipating into the ocean. White froth begins to brighten the black peat stained waters and the eyes begin to see again. With each stroke the light becomes brighter, the surface gets closer. Surface.
